Multi Skilled Engineer (Resilience - Static Team)

We are currently looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer, based at Worship Street, London, who will be responsible for the Maintenance, response, and fault analysis of building operations.

This is a resilience engineering role, requiring flexibility to support a portfolio of commercial properties across Central London (Zones 1 & 2). You'll play a key role in ensuring operational continuity, providing engineering support across multiple sites while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer service.

As the Multi Skilled Engineer, you will:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, and fault diagnosis on electrical infrastructure, plant, and equipment.
• Diagnose faults, make plant adjustments, and inspect electrical systems to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operation.
• Deliver maintenance activities within agreed service level agreements (SLAs) and contract requirements.
• Follow Safe Systems of Work and ensure all tasks are completed in line with engineering standards, health and safety legislation, and company procedures.
• Support the safe management of subcontractors, including inductions and authorisation to work on site.
• Champion Skanska’s Injury-Free Environment (IFE) culture, ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety policies, statutory obligations, and Our Way of Working.

We are looking for:

• Qualified in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with proven experience in building services engineering (Electrical bias preferred)
• Health & Safety qualification such as IOSH Working Safely, or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills, with experience in a customer-facing environment.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Good knowledge of relevant legislation, compliance requirements, and industry best practice within facilities management and engineering services.
• Strong understanding of statutory compliance requirements, including HVAC systems and water treatment.
• Willingness to undertake training and gain LVAP (Low Voltage Authorised Person) certification across multiple static sites.
