Engineering Excellence. Operational Innovation. Lasting Impact.

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Engineer to join a high-performing manufacturing business committed to innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

This role is ideally suited to a commercially minded engineer who enjoys taking projects from concept to completion, delivering strategic improvements, and influencing the future direction of manufacturing operations. You will lead key engineering initiatives, introduce new technologies, and ensure our production facilities remain efficient, compliant, and fit for future growth.

The Role

You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing engineering solutions that enhance productivity, quality, capacity, and safety across the site. Working closely with cross-functional teams in the UK and internationally, you will manage capital projects, oversee equipment installations, support new product introduction, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

You will bring:

  • Proven experience within a manufacturing or production engineering environment
  • A strong track record of delivering engineering projects and capital investments
  • Excellent technical knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment installation, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience managing suppliers, contractors, budgets, and project timelines
  • A thorough understanding of engineering compliance, including PUWER, LOLER, and Health & Safety standards
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels

An engineering apprenticeship, HNC (or equivalent), and experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar software would be advantageous.

Why Join Us?

This is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation where engineering is valued as a strategic function. You'll work on high-profile projects, contribute to significant investment programmes, and play a key role in shaping the future of our manufacturing capability.

Our Commitment to You

At Acushnet Europe we offer a comprehensive and thoughtfully designed benefits package that supports your life both inside and outside of work. You'll receive a competitive salary package that reflects your skills, experience, and the value you bring. Our annual leave increases with tenure, with the added flexibility to buy or sell holiday - because we believe in the importance of balance and time to recharge.

We take your wellbeing seriously, with programmes and support for both physical and mental health. You’ll also have free access to our onsite gym and can enjoy fresh, affordable meals in our subsidised restaurant.

Looking ahead, we offer a salary sacrifice pension scheme, employee assistance support, and financial guidance to help you plan for the future. We’re also big on development, with training, tuition support, and plenty of opportunities to keep learning and progressing. You’ll have access to an extensive benefits portal, giving you the flexibility to tailor your benefits to suit you and your lifestyle. On top of that, you’ll benefit from employee discounts, wellbeing incentives, and recognition for the work you do.

Like any good partnership, we start with a short “getting to know each other” phase - our probationary period. Some benefits will be available after successful completion, as you establish yourself in the role.
