Data Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports.
• Develop and implement a reporting infrastructure, interactive dashboards, and other analytical tools to provide insight into the data.
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and highlight any issues in the existing databases/data systems.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Develop regression and forecasting models using historical data to predict the future performance of the portfolio.
• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in statistics/mathematics/engineering.
• 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
• Technical experience in data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with Excel, SQL, Python, and dashboarding tools such as Metabase, Tableau, etc.
• Develop regression and forecasting models using historical data to predict future performance of the portfolio.
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing and visualizing datasets (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, Seaborn).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Keen interest in solving problems using data and providing a new perspective to stakeholders.
• Knowledge about the practices and procedures in the US unsecured lending industry.
• Experience in supervised and unsupervised model development.
