We are seeking an experienced Licensed Plumberthat will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in the facility. This role requires expertise, blueprint interpretation, and safe operation of plumbing tools and equipment for the federally contracted ICE residential facilitylocated in Alexandria, Louisiana.
Conditions of Employment:

Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
Must show proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.

Qualifications:
Active plumbing license required.
Strong knowledge of construction plumbing methods and practices.
Proficiency with plumbing hand tools and power tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
Previous construction site experience preferred.
Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift required materials.
Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintainplumbing systems, pipes, fixtures, and appliances
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
Perform pipe threading, assembly, and related plumbing tasks
Safely utilize hand tools and power tools
Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding plumbing work
Provide general maintenance support, including carpentry and remodeling tasks when needed
Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing, drainage, and water distribution issues
Conduct inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance activities
Ensure compliance with plumbing codes and safety regulations
