Job Description
Purpose of the Position: To manage the creditors' function, ensuring accurate processing of supplier invoices, reconciliations, and payments in line with company procedures.Key Responsibilities
- Process and capture supplier invoices accurately and on time.
- Reconcile supplier statements with accounting records.
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and supplier queries.
- Prepare creditors reconciliations and payment schedules.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate creditors records.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal departments on invoices and payments.
- Assist with month-end reporting and financial administration.
- Ad-hoc duties as needed while maintaining confidentiality and compliance.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Relevant qualification in Finance, Accounting or Bookkeeping (advantage).
- Prior experience in creditors/accounts payable.
- Knowledge of supplier reconciliations and invoice processing.
- Computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
- Experience with Sage 300 or similar accounting systems (advantage).
- Strong numerical, organizational, and administrative skills.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Professional conduct, reliability, and confidentiality handling.
