Solution Architect

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Solution Architect to design and drive enterprise infrastructure solutions across on-premises, hybrid cloud, and public cloud environments.

The ideal candidate should combine strong hands-on infrastructure expertise with experience in platform architecture, data center transformation, cloud migration, modernization, and infrastructure automation, preferably within the financial services domain.

Responsibilities:

- Define and design enterprise infrastructure and platform architectures across on-premises, hybrid, and public cloud environments.

- Develop High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) covering compute, virtualization, storage, networking, operating systems, cloud, security, backup, and disaster recovery.

- Design and support infrastructure solutions using VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.

- Architect and optimize Linux environments, including RHEL, CentOS, and Ubuntu.

- Design and evaluate solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP, including hybrid cloud architectures and cloud migration strategies.

- Work with private cloud and virtualization technologies such as OpenStack, OpenShift, KVM, and bare-metal infrastructure.

- Design enterprise storage solutions covering SAN, NAS, Object Storage, and Software-Defined Storage.

- Collaborate with network and security teams on Cisco ACI, SDN, SD-WAN, data center networking, and firewall architectures.

- Provide infrastructure architecture guidance for security platforms including Palo Alto, FortiGate, and Cisco firewalls.

- Design and review backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and resilience solutions using technologies such as Veeam, Commvault, and NetBackup.

- Drive infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code using Ansible, Terraform, and related automation technologies.

- Lead or contribute to data center transformation, cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, and platform engineering initiatives.

- Ensure infrastructure solutions comply with enterprise security, risk, governance, and regulatory requirements, including PCI-DSS and ISO 27001.

- Evaluate technology options, define architecture standards, and provide recommendations aligned with business, security, scalability, availability, and cost objectives.

- Work closely with infrastructure engineering, cloud, networking, security, application, operations, and vendor teams to ensure successful solution implementation.

- Provide technical leadership during architecture reviews, technology evaluations, migrations, and complex infrastructure initiatives.

- Troubleshoot and provide architectural guidance for complex infrastructure, virtualization, cloud, networking, storage, and platform issues.

- Maintain architecture documentation, standards, technology roadmaps, and governance artifacts.

- Manage senior stakeholders and communicate architecture decisions, risks, dependencies, and recommendations effectively.

Requirements :

- 12 - 18 years of experience in IT infrastructure, infrastructure architecture, platform engineering, or related areas.

- Strong experience in Infrastructure Architecture and Platform Engineering, with significant exposure to enterprise-scale environments.

- Hands-on expertise with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.

- Strong Linux administration and architecture experience, particularly with RHEL, CentOS, or Ubuntu.

- Proven experience designing on-premises, hybrid cloud, and public cloud infrastructure.

- Strong knowledge of one or more major cloud platforms, with exposure to AWS, Azure, and GCP.

- Experience with OpenStack, OpenShift, KVM, and bare-metal infrastructure.

- Strong understanding of enterprise storage technologies including SAN, NAS, Object Storage, and Software-Defined Storage.

- Good understanding of data center networking, Cisco ACI, SDN, SD-WAN, and network architecture.

- Knowledge of enterprise firewalls such as Palo Alto, FortiGate, or Cisco.

- Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions, including Veeam, Commvault, or NetBackup.

- Strong experience with Ansible, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, and infrastructure automation.

- Experience leading or contributing to cloud migration, data center transformation, infrastructure modernization, and hybrid-cloud programs.

- Strong understanding of PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, infrastructure security, IT governance, and risk management.

- Strong architecture documentation skills, including HLD, LLD, architecture diagrams, standards, and technology roadmaps.

- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and technical consulting skills.

- Experience in financial services, banking, or other highly regulated enterprise environments is preferred.

- Relevant certifications such as VMware VCP, AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, CCNP/CCNA/ACI, Red Hat, ITIL, CISSP, or CISM are preferred.
