• Accounting & Bookkeeping: Redefining what it means to do Accounting, Bookkeeping, Tax and Payroll thanks to our proprietary SleekBooks ledger, AI tools and exceptional customer service
• FinTech payments: Overcoming a key challenge for Entrepreneurs by offering digital banking services to new businesses

Sleek launched in 2017 and now has around 15,000 customers across our offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia and the UK. We have around 600 staff with an intact startup mindset.

We're looking for a Senior Manager to own and manage a portfolio of our Pro-tier clients, supported by a great team of accountants based between Sydney and Melbourne.

WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES

• Manage, nurture and grow a team of 5 great accountants based in Sydney & Melbourne,
• Manage your own portfolio of SME clients based across Australia in the consulting, eCommerce, retail sectors & else.
• Own the end-to-end compliance matters, from activity statements to tax return.
• Provide guidance and quality control to our bookkeeping centre of excellence and the product team building our AI agents managing the grunt work - because great numbers start with clean books.
• Act as a trusted advisor on all things accounting and tax - from planning to problem-solving.

Requirements

We're seeking a detail-oriented and experienced tax professional ready to make a strong impact. To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• A passion for the Australian SME space and client satisfaction.
• Registered Tax Agent for at least 2 years [Mandatory]
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a practising tax accountant managing a portfolio of SME clients (Companies, trusts...).
• At least 3 years’ experience managing a team of bookkeepers and tax accountants.
• Strong client service and communication skills - you’re confident in explaining tax matters clearly and professionally.
• A high level of professionalism - you represent Sleek with integrity and care.
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills - you can manage multiple tasks without losing focus.
• Proficiency with Xero Practice Manager, Dext, A2X, and other accounting operations tools.
• A proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver results.
