Responsibilities:

  • Architect, design, and develop highly scalable, low-latency backend systems.
  • Build and maintain RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs for large-scale applications.
  • Write clean, testable, and production-ready code with high coverage.
  • Own services end-to-end, from design to deployment and monitoring.
  • Optimise applications for maximum throughput, reliability, and performance.
  • Implement and enforce security, data protection, and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with frontend, DevOps, product, and QA teams.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in backend development.
  • Proficiency in Python (Django / Flask / FastAPI).
  • Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
