You'll own critical backend systems powering Slikk's 60-minute delivery model: order orchestration, inventory, payments, and logistics. You'll build and scale Django services on AWS/PostgreSQL that handle real-time demand, hyper-local fulfilment, and high-throughput order pipelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Own critical backend systems powering order orchestration, inventory, payments, and logistics.
  • Build and scale Django services on AWS/PostgreSQL for real-time demand.
  • Design for hyperlocal fulfilment and high-throughput order pipelines.
  • Architect for reliability across dark-store inventory and last-mile delivery flows.
  • Debug and own production issues end-to-end.

Requirements:

  • Django (Python) 6+ years in production.
  • PostgreSQL deep, hands-on expertise (schema design, query optimisation, and performance at scale).
  • AWS hands-on with RDS, ElastiCache, SQS/SNS, ECS/EC2 S3 and VPC.
  • Strong data structure and algorithm fundamentals.
  • Good to Have: FastAPI / Flask exposure, Kafka / Redis, Docker / Kubernetes, quick commerce, e-commerce, or logistics domain experience.
