Tax Accountant – Urgent Hiring

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage Multiple Client Accounts: Efficiently handle the bookkeeping needs of multiple clients, ensuring that their financial records are accurate and compliant with VAT and corporate tax regulations in the UAE.
• Compute Taxes for Filing: Calculate and prepare the necessary tax returns for each client, ensuring timely and accurate tax filings in accordance with UAE tax laws.
• Data Entry and Record Keeping: Enter accounting transactions into relevant software systems such as Tally, Zoho, or QuickBooks based on the data received from clients. Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
• Accuracy Checks: Conduct regular checks and reconciliations to verify the accuracy of accounting records, identifying and rectifying any discrepancies promptly.
• Stay Informed on Tax Laws: Stay updated on the latest tax laws, regulations, and changes in the UAE tax landscape. Ensure that all client records and filings are in compliance with the most current regulations.
• Periodical Financial Reporting: Prepare and deliver periodic financial reports to clients, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, and any other relevant financial documents. These reports should provide clients with a clear picture of their financial health.
• Software Proficiency: Utilize accounting software like Tally, Zoho, or QuickBooks to efficiently manage client accounts and streamline bookkeeping processes.
• Adherence to Deadlines: Ensure that all tax filings, reports, and other financial deliverables are submitted to clients and relevant authorities within the specified deadlines.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues, including tax experts and auditors, to ensure a holistic approach to client financial management and compliance.
• Confidentiality: Maintain the utmost confidentiality when handling client financial data and sensitive information.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in the business setup or consulting industry.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT laws and compliance is a plus.
• Proficient with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho Books).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
