QC Specialist - Visual QC

Job Purpose:

To support Operations byinspectingand verifyingthe quality ofelectroniccomponents, non-electronic components, andperipheralsbefore merchandise is shipped.

Essential Job Duties:

• Verify information visually:

• using various microscopic equipment and the naked eye, to insure thecomponent

• matches manufacturer specifications

• is not damaged

• using alcohol swipe and scrape test to verify product has not been black topped

• todetermineif there are “red flags” thatindicatea possible suspect part

• Utilize our proprietary system to complete, in detail, thecomponentinspectionprocessand upload any documentation

• Ensure all PO/SO requirements are met

• Communicate withappropriate individualswhen discrepancies arise

Job Qualifications

Experience:

• 1+yearscomponentor product inspection

• Solid written and oral communication skillsa must

• Multi-tasking and organization skillsrequired

• Minimum 1 year warehouse experience

• Knowledge of the electronics distribution field is helpful

Education:

• College degree,technical institute courses, orequivalent job experience preferred

Certifications:

• A+ Certification helpful but notrequired

• CCI 102 Level 1

• ESD

Software Requirements:

• Knowledge of Microsoft OfficeSuitea plus

Physical Demands :

• Ability to lift35lbs
