Overview:
SOFTSWISS is hiring a Senior Copywriter to join our PR Team. You’ll create PR and social media content that communicates our products, expertise and company news to external audiences across media, industry platforms and corporate channels.
Purpose of the Role:
Own the quality and delivery of written communications across PR and social media, turning business, product and brand inputs into clear, accurate and engaging external content. You’ll work closely with the PR and SMM teams while operating independently: understanding the objective behind each task, identifying missing information, working directly with relevant stakeholders, and bringing content to a publication-ready standard.
Key Responsibilities:
PR
Write and edit press releases, media announcements and other PR materials that clearly communicate company news and key messages.
Create thought-leadership articles, expert comments, interview materials and LinkedIn Pulse articles for company and external platforms.
Own the awards submission process, from maintaining the awards calendar and identifying opportunities to preparing submissions and coordinating stakeholder input.
Manage and update company profiles across relevant media platforms and industry directories.
Prepare executive presentations, talking points and supporting marketing materials in collaboration with internal experts.
Conduct independent research and fact-checking to ensure content is accurate, relevant and well-supported.
Social Media
Produce approximately 4-5 social media posts per week across agreed corporate channels.
Turn complex product, business and expert topics into clear, engaging and accessible social content.
Research topics, analyse data and collaborate with internal experts to uncover useful insights and stories.
Turn large volumes of information into concise, structured and engaging digests.
Adapt product updates, interviews, expert quotes and public-speaking materials into social-first formats.
Monitor events, awards, company news and media coverage to create timely digests with relevant context and analysis.
Support special social media projects with copy, messaging and editorial input.
Editorial Quality & Ownership
Take end-to-end ownership of assigned content, from clarifying the brief and gathering input to fact-checking and delivering publication-ready copy.
Apply strong editorial judgement to identify weak messaging, factual gaps and unsupported claims before final review.
Maintain consistency in messaging, terminology and tone of voice across external communications.
Work autonomously from idea development and research through final copy and delivery.
Create editorial content around defined topics and priorities, including content designed to improve visibility in search and LLM-driven discovery.
Required Experience:
5+ years of professional experience in copywriting, journalism, PR writing or editorial work.
Excellent written English, ideally at C1+ or near-native level.
Russian at C1+ level.
Strong writing and editing skills across multiple content formats.
Strong research and fact-checking skills.
Experience working independently with internal experts and senior stakeholders.
Strong editorial judgement and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple content streams and deadlines simultaneously.
Nice to Have:
Experience in B2B technology, iGaming or another complex industry.
Professional experience covering both PR and social media content.
Good understanding of social media formats, post structure and platform mechanics.
