Job Description
The is responsible for owning key modules and performing code and design AI architectural reviews, suggesting best practices, and implementing design and development standards. This role is suited for a specialist with practical experience in generative AI, a passion for problem-solving, expertise in modernizing legacy code, and enthusiasm for adopting emerging technologies such as large language models (LLMs). The position requires an experienced AI/ML engineer with a proven track record of developing multiple AI applications and managing the entire spectrum of AI application development while leading multiple workstreams. The team is tasked with building key AI/ML applications and scalable pipelines, and the successful candidate will act as the AI projects design authority, shaping best practices and methodologies within the team.
All roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver specific project deliverables as an AI Engineer.
- Provide guidance to the engineering team on building new LLM applications and leveraging existing AI applications.
- Improve the productivity of the engineering organization by infusing AI into coding standards and practices.
- Act as the AI projects design authority and shape best practices and methodologies within the team.
- Design and build scalable machine learning pipelines and AI/ML models.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to integrate AI/ML solutions into production systems.
- Collect, preprocess, and analyze large datasets, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Train and fine-tune machine learning models, evaluate performance, and continuously improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct research to explore new techniques and methodologies in AI/ML technologies.
- Communicate technical concepts and results to non-technical stakeholders.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
- Experience in developing and implementing AI/ML models and algorithms.
- Experience in designing and building scalable machine learning pipelines.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML solutions.
- Experience in collecting, preprocessing, and analyzing large datasets.
- Experience in training and evaluating machine learning models.
- Experience in modernizing legacy code and adopting emerging technologies.
- Experience in acting as a design authority and shaping best practices within engineering teams.
- Experience in communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in leading multiple workstreams in AI application development.
- Experience in generative AI and large language models (LLMs).
- Experience in infrastructure automation development and enhancing productivity using LLM models.
- Experience in developing robust and scalable products for cybersecurity.
- Experience in conducting research and experimenting with new AI/ML techniques.
- Experience in mentoring junior team members and leading implementations on key modules.
