Senior Backend Developer (AWS/Payments)

Requirements:

Must have:

• 5+ years of experience in backend software development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Solid experience with AWS Cloud Services.
• Experience implementing and managing Amazon Cognito.
• Experience designing and supporting clustered/distributed architectures.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience working on Payments or Financial Services solutions.
• Experience with source control, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of application security and performance optimization.

Nice to have:

• Containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS).
• Messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS).
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
• Financial industry or fintech background.

Responsabilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend application features and functionality.
• Develop high-quality, scalable, and secure code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and performance issues.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
• Design and implement cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services.
• Develop and integrate authentication and authorization solutions using Amazon Cognito.
• Build and support distributed and cluster-based application architectures.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Participate in technical discussions, estimation sessions, and solution design activities.
• Ensure application reliability, scalability, and performance within payment-processing environments.
• Support production deployments and continuous improvement initiatives.
