The Role

The intern junior accounting role works together as part of the finance team. The role is primarily responsible for accounts payable (including expense claim reimbursement) and accounts receivable as well as supporting the month end closing process. Ongoing maintenance of e-invoicing.

What You’ll Do

• Manage staff expense claim reimbursements (check for compliance, validate, book the expense, initiate payment)
• Issue customer invoices - work closely with sales team to issue customer invoices accurately and timely. Book the appropriate entries in the local ERP system.
• Accounts receivable ageing report and collections
• Co-operate with sales operation team to process sales contract
• Accounts payable function - processing invoices, vendor liaison and payment initiation
• Journal entries and support the team with monthly closing
• Taxation support including voucher paper sorting

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or related
• Good command of English in both written and oral and fluent in Mandarin
• Good Microsoft Excel skills are mandatory
• Intelligence, curiosity and motivation.
• Team player and ability to work to tight deadlines.
