ROLE SUMMARY
We're looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Associate who can manage multiple client payrolls accurately and efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The Payroll Associate combines payroll operations with direct client support. They are responsible for coordinating payroll activities from beginning to end, ensuring transactions are processed accurately, on time, and in compliance with applicable requirements.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable communicating with clients, capable of managing multiple priorities, and able to solve payroll-related questions with accountability and a service-oriented mindset.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedule, coordinate, and manage multiple client payrolls.
- Process payroll transactions accurately, timely, and compliantly.
- Handle payroll taxation, wage garnishments, child support orders, and tax levies.
- Complete accurate quarter-end and year-end payroll reporting.
- Prepare ad hoc payroll reports for clients.
- Support time and attendance, payroll processing, and payroll reporting across multiple client environments.
- Respond to client calls, inquiries, and payroll system questions.
- Coordinate payroll activities with clients from beginning to end.
- Manage client projects and ensure proper follow-up and accountability.
- Deliver a high level of customer service throughout the payroll process.
SKILLS
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1+ years of customer service experience.
- Strong phone presence and excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Problem-solving and prioritization abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
