Sourcing Specialist
Job Overview
Our client is an education recruitment agency built in Australia, for Australian schools. They place Primary, Middle, Secondary, and Special Needs teachers into schools across every state of Australia. Since 2022, they have grown from a handful of school clients to more than 600 and now reach over 25,000 educators around the world.
You will be one of the first Sourcing Specialists in the new Philippines branch, working hand in hand with consultants in Australia. Your job is simple to describe and endlessly interesting to do: find great teachers, work out whether they are right for schools, and get them in front of the Australian team.
Job Details
Work Setup: Work from Home
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM | Perth Time
Holiday: Australian holiday calendar
Responsibilities
- Headhunt qualified teachers using LinkedIn Recruiter, Seek Talent Search and our own candidate database.
- Work Seek Talent Search daily, chasing and re-engaging teachers who match live vacancies at our schools.
- Write and post job advertisements across job boards and social channels, then track how they perform and refresh what is not working.
- Build our presence on social media. LinkedIn, Facebook teacher groups, Instagram and TikTok are all fair game for attracting teachers.
- Screen candidates over the phone, covering qualifications, teacher registration, right to work, availability, and the year levels and subjects they are strongest in.
- Encourage every suitable candidate to complete our registration pack, including the digital interview and reference checks, or interview them over the phone yourself where that works better.
- Prepare clear, punchy candidate summaries and shortlists for the Australian consultants to present to schools.
- Grow and maintain talent pools across Primary, Middle, Secondary and Special Needs teaching.
- Find new ways in. Teacher forums, referral campaigns, university and training provider partnerships, overseas markets, anything that works. We want your ideas, not just your activity.
- Organize new applicants on our database, filing them into the right folders so that anyone on the team can find the right teacher quickly.
- Hit weekly sourcing, screening and shortlist targets, and share what you are learning with the rest of the team.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Sourcing Specialist, Talent Acquisition Associate, Recruiter, or similar.

- Confidence using social media as a sourcing tool, not just a personal habit.
- Familiarity with Seek, Seek Talent Search, or other job boards.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Comfortable with high-volume outreach and with picking up the phone.
- Genuinely curious and inventive. The best Sourcers we know are the ones who try channels nobody else has thought of.
- Self-motivated and able to work well with a team based in another country.
Additional Requirements
- After completing your initial interview, you will be asked to create a short video introduction highlighting your background, professional experience, key skills, and career achievements.
