Salesforce Product Owner

The Team:The Customer Experience Product team works closely with Client Services, Sales, Operations, and users across the organization. The team acts as a bridge between internal users and Technology to ensure that requirements are captured, prioritized, executed and delivered to a high quality.

The Impact:The Salesforce Product Owner is an integral part of the team who is responsible for driving operational efficiency for all business stakeholders. This position will be working within the agile framework to prioritize, plan and oversee the delivery of features on their scrum team, in order to enhance the value of the SFDC platform and integrated systems. The Product Owner will represent stakeholders to define features and prioritize the product backlog, to obtain maximum value to the benefit of the end user.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational efficiency by defining, developing, and implementing the Salesforce strategic roadmap and feature releases for integrated systems

• Collaborate with S&P Energy stakeholders to identify customer needs, gather detailed business requirements, and provide strategic guidance on business processes

• Write user stories, own and prioritize the product backlog, and translate complex business needs into clear technical requirements for the scrum team

• Lead sprint planning and execution while working closely with the scrum master to ensure timely delivery of high-value features

• Communicate product roadmap, timelines, and request status to stakeholders while partnering with Salesforce Field Support to deliver enhancements to end users

• Establish and track key performance metrics to demonstrate business value delivered, applying lean thinking principles for continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

• Relevant hands-on experience working with Salesforce as a product owner, business analyst, or super user with deep platform knowledge
• Proven experience with agile methodologies and frameworks, including sprint planning, backlog management, and stakeholder collaboration
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate complex business requirements into clear technical specifications and user stories
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience managing stakeholder relationships across multiple business functions
• Demonstrated experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud is an asset
