We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, experience with data analysis tools, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
What you'll do:
- Design and build high-performance, scalable end-to-end analytical solutions - from understanding business needs and modelling data to delivering intuitive reports and dashboards
- Develop, maintain, and optimize semantic models, dashboards, and reports that support strategic and operational decision-making
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand complex requirements, challenge assumptions, and translate them into scalable data solutions
- Perform ad hoc analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and insights that support business decisions
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability by applying analytical best practices throughout the reporting lifecycle
- Contribute to improving our BI solutions and reporting processes by proposing new approaches, optimizing existing solutions, and promoting BI best practices
- Support business users through workshops, training sessions, and presentations

What we expect:
- BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in Data Analytics or similar data-focused roles
- Strong experience with SQL and relational databases
- Experience with BI tools, preferably Power BI
- Understanding of data modelling principles and experience designing semantic models for analytical reporting
- Experience designing and developing reports and dashboards following data visualization best practices
- Experience working with large and complex datasets, including query and reporting performance optimization
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Good spoken and written English skills
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality
- Ability to work effectively with remote teammates and business users
Skills that will bring you extra points:
- Experience with Power Query (M) and DAX
- Understanding of ETL/ELT principles and experience with data integration tools (e.g. Azure Data Factory)
- Experience working with REST APIs and integrating external data sources
- Understanding of modern data architecture concepts (e.g. Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Lakehouse, Medallion Architecture)
- Familiarity with Azure data technologies (e.g. Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage)
- Experience with modern data platforms (e.g. Databricks)
- Experience designing and developing paginated reports using SSRS or Power BI Paginated Reports
- Interest in or experience using AI-powered tools and agents to enhance analytics and BI development
