Your tasks

• Strategic Leadership: Act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers through their cloud transformation journey.
• Enterprise-Scale Solutions: Lead the design and execution of highly complex and large-scale cloud infrastructures.
• Hands-on Expertise: While primarily strategic, you stay technically sharp and can step in when needed to ensure solutions are well-architected and efficiently implemented.
• Infrastructure as Code: Maintain the ability to write and review Terraform, Pulumi, or other IaC solutions to support technical decision-making.
• Project Delivery: Ensure successful project execution, aligning cloud initiatives with business goals and technical excellence.
• C-Level Engagement: Consult and present cloud strategies to executive leadership, supporting decision-making at the highest level.
• Thought Leadership: Represent SQUER as a cloud expert in conferences, publications, and industry forums.
• Business Development: Build long-term customer relationships, drive cloud strategy discussions, and identify new business opportunities.

Your qualifications

• Consulting Excellence: Extensive experience in cloud consulting, customer advisory, and enterprise project leadership.
• Technical & Business Alignment: Ability to balance hands-on expertise with strategic planning for cloud adoption.
• Enterprise Cloud Architectures: Deep technical understanding of large-scale infrastructures and cloud security.
• Infrastructure as Code: Strong background in Terraform Pulumi, or similar tools, with the ability to contribute to technical discussions and decisions.
• Leadership: Strong track record in project execution and stakeholder management - combined with technical leadership to guide engineering teams towards successful delivery.
• Public Speaking & Sales: Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and engage in high-level sales discussions.
• Inspiration & Influence: Passion for shaping ideas, driving innovation, and making an impact inside and outside of SQUER.
• AI-native: You actively use AI-powered tools (e.g., code assistants, LLM-based workflows) to amplify your productivity and quality, or you're eager to start.
• Communication: Ability to break down complex topics and explain them in a way that makes sense to both engineers and customers.
• Languages: Fluent in English and German

We believe in transparent and fair compensation. For this role, the annual gross salary ranges between € 95.000 and € 105.000 - the exact placement depends on the seniority level we assess together during the process.
