Database Developer

Responsibilities:

• Assist with database development efforts, including database design, coding, and documentation.
• Writing and modifying medium- to complex-stored procedures and triggers.
• Develop complex reports using SSRS.
• SQL programming and general database administration.
• Usage of databases available on the cloud is preferred but not mandatory.
• Analyzes, troubleshoots, and debugs the stored procedures from a performance tuning perspective.
• Must have proven ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines and well-developed time management skills.
• Prepare design specifications and functional documentation for assigned database projects.
• Identify any issues related to database performance and provide corrective measures.
• Create complex functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers to support application development.
• Provides general support on information technology to design, develop, execute, and maintain the database.
• Test databases and perform bug fixes.
• Evaluate existing databases and recommend improvements for performance efficiency.

Requirements:

• Strong skills in database technologies (Microsoft SQL Server), including database development (T-SQL).
• Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS).
• Good understanding of object-oriented design concepts.
• Strong knowledge of systems and software development life cycles, application integration techniques, and relational database design.
• Sound knowledge of the Scrum methodology of agile software development and its application.
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline or related field.
