What You Will Get To Do:

The role holder will be responsible for collecting and processing complex data, exercising due diligence as well as reviewing and implementing strict data quality processes.

At this level you will be required to demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of relevant work processes alongside a broad understanding of related and interfacing activities to provide effective management of Transfer Agency.

We are looking for an SME or someone who has had extensive People Management responsibilities with a also focus on strategy, change management, resource planning and development, which includes people / team management), client relationship management and risk reduction.

You will be working within the Dealing Platform department and directly reporting to the Line Manager, AVP level. You will also have a reporting line guiding the team during their day-to-day activity, establishing effective, collaborative relations with clients, peers and superiors.

Your Key Responsibilities will include:

• Assume responsibility for the efficient day to day running of the group acting as a source of technical expertise.
• Exercise operational oversight within the department and make operational decisions, also driving procedural changes to improve performance of related business areas, assisted by the AVP.
• Handle and resolve complex or unusual operational and managerial problems.
• Ensure that procedures, policies and processes are consistent, so a high quality service is delivered to the customer.
• Ensure benchmark KPI’s are achieved and exceeded where possible.
• Contribute to the development of the organization in terms of financial planning, business strategy, service offerings and policies.
• Understand the risk environment within the department and manage appropriately.
• Set department objectives with the guidance of your AVP to ensure the team members are clear about their goals and objectives setting requirements each year
• Perform appraisals, regular 1-to-1s and ensure appropriate training plans are in place and followed.
• Ensure Career Development Plans are in place for all employees within the Team and manage Talent Performance Process within the deadlines.
• Improve current processes to meet the changing requirements of our clients and improve efficiency

What You Will Bring

• At least 7 years of Transfer Agency or Financial Services experience.
• People Management experience in operational management, realistically this will be at least 2-3 years in a management position.
• Comprehensive procedural, technical and product knowledge of the Transfer Agency industry.
• A strong understanding of Fund Accounting, Custody and Regulatory background to Funds Industry.
• Advanced Computer Skills within Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.

• Ability to work independently and as part of the Team.
• Excellent administrative and business support skills, with the ability to multi-task and to work calmly under pressure.
• A clear, logical analytical and methodical approach to problem-solving; organization skills for oneself and others; willingness to assume additional tasks in order to share workload within team/department; initiative and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills - Fluent in English both written and oral.
• Other European Languages (French, German, Spanish and/or Dutch) considered as an advantage.
