About our Line of Business -Satellite Systems
ST Engineering Satellite Systems Pte. Ltd. (SatSys) is a joint venture founded in 2010 by ST Engineering, DSO National Laboratories, and Nanyang Technological University. Today with our expertise and comprehensive suite of satellite engineering and test facility, SatSys design and develop satellite buses to integrate with various payloads, such as Electro-Optical (EO) camera, Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and more, to meet the mission objectives of our customers.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Satellite RF Engineer to join our dedicated team at ST Engineering Satellite Systems Pte. Ltd., located at the Satellite Hub, 6 AMK Electronics Park Road, Singapore. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge satellite communication projects within a dynamic and innovative environment.
As a Satellite RF Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, testing, and optimising radio frequency (RF) systems that support satellite communication. Your expertise will help ensure robust satellite connectivity and performance, enabling seamless data transmission across various satellite platforms.
Be Part of Our Success
- Design, develop, and validate satellite RF subsystems, including transponders, amplifiers, antennas, and related components.
- Perform RF link budget analysis to ensure system performance meets design specifications and operational requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as systems engineering, payload design, and ground station operations to integrate and test satellite RF systems.
- Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of RF systems to identify and resolve issues, assuring optimal functionality.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation including design reports, test plans, and operational procedures in compliance with company standards.
- Stay current with emerging satellite RF technologies and industry trends to contribute innovative ideas and improvements.
- Support satellite system commissioning and in-orbit testing activities to verify satellite RF performance post-launch.
Qualities We Value
- Knowledge in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field with experience in RF and microwave engineering.
- Proven experience in satellite RF system design and engineering, preferably within the satellite communications sector.
- Solid understanding of RF principles, satellite communication standards, and relevant RF measurement techniques.
- Proficiency in RF simulation and analysis tools such as ADS, CST Microwave Studio, or similar software.
- Good knowledge of link budget analysis and experience in working with satellite payloads and ground station interfaces.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
