Digital Experience Strategist

The Job

As the Digital Experience Strategist, you will own the end-to-end workflow for customer digital experience insights and synthesis, and experience optimization. You will act as the strategic hub for consumer site continuous improvement initiatives, translating cross-functional input into actionable plans that inform and enhance digital product development. Your work will ensure that customer needs, accessibility, and experience standards are embedded in every stage of the digital journey. You will also mentor and enable teams, fostering a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead customer insights activities, usability testing, and service design to inform digital experience strategies and optimizations.

• Synthesize qualitative and quantitative customer signals to generate actionable insights for product planning and prioritization.

• Partner with the Global Product Strategist to ensure that customer, competitive, industry, and business inputs guide feature development and roadmap decisions.

• Develop and maintain global experience standards, frameworks, and feedback loops for continuous improvement.

• Drive cross-functional collaboration with Product, IT, UX, marketing, customer support, and regional partners.

• Establish digital experience KPIs and track outcomes post-launch, providing transparent reporting to stakeholders.

• Partner with XM UX team and Global Marketing partners on insights methodologies and best practices, building organizational capability in experience strategy.

• Present strategies and findings through personas, journey maps, service designs, and wireframes, translating ambiguity into structured plans.

• Advocate for accessibility, usability, and conversion optimization across all digital touchpoints.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in UX research and insights, persona grooming, service design, user testing, information architecture, or digital experience optimization, ideally in multi-brand/multi-region contexts.

• Proven success running complex, cross-functional UX programs from research through delivery.

• Expertise in user testing platforms, analytics, and wireframing tools (e.g., UserTesting, Figma, Claude).

• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to influence strategies and build consensus.

• Experience working in matrixed organizations and mentoring cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with CMS, Algolia, DAM/PIM systems.

• Experience with AI-powered or Gen AI feature development.

• Background in tools, outdoor, or durables brands.
