We are seeking a Technical Lead for our WMS and Ledger Accounting team. This Lead will drive the end-to-end agentic workflow implementation of WMS processes and products that ease the day-to-day ground operations of all Warehouses. In this role, you aren't just supervising; you are the primary driver of product velocity and quality. You will build world-class products with high speed and great quality without compromising the user experience. This is a high-stakes role designed for those who thrive in ambiguity, ownership, and speed.
Responsibilities:
- Lead: Product and Systems thinking to Design architecture and APIs at scale.
- Build: Work with product, design and other stakeholders to understand requirements and turn them into architectural and design plans with an implementation roadmap.
- Optimise Daily: Identify bottlenecks in queries, execution plans, and overall system design to ensure a low-latency end-user experience.
- Ensure High Availability: Own the delivery of i/o optimized low latency APIs and DB Schema that supports 24/7 uptime and exponential scalability.
- Champion "Agentic" Engineering: Drive an Agentic-first approach to solution design, utilising AI-driven development (AIDD) to solve complex engineering hurdles.
- Collaborate and Mentor: Work across functional teams to fine-tune system health and guide developers in writing efficient, high-performance code.
- Security: Implement Security Principles and PII Compliance within the application schema and access policies.
- System Design: Develop and sustain large-scale distributed platform services.
- Mentorship: Provide hands-on technical leadership: software design and development, coding, debugging complex issues, prototyping new features and reviewing code for quality. Help the team plan and execute technical deliverables. Mentor junior engineers capable of developing and running scalable, reliable, maintainable services.
- Data-driven: Keep a focus on the usage/metrics of the owned services and be super customer-focused.
Requirements:
- Technical Depth: 5-7 years of experience in distributed system design, performance tuning, and cloud-based best practices.
- 0-to-1 Mindset: A proven ability to navigate the challenges and pace of early-stage product journeys.
- Product Experience: Hands-on experience of building and improving high-scale D2C, B2B, attribution applications, order management systems, product catalog,
- Hands-on Expertise: User Accounts, RBACs, Deep expertise in DSA, LLD, HLD, ACID, caching, distributed system design, DBMS, Garbage Collector, microservices, VM, K8S, data pipelines, Kafka, nsqd.
- Observability Focus: Experience setting up monitoring frameworks to proactively identify slow-running processes and blocking issues.
- Performance Tooling: Expertise in leveraging Profilers and Performance Insights to assist teams in tuning complex stored procedures.
- Modern Workflow: Mastery of Git-based workflows, including rigorous PR reviews and configuration management.
Skill Set:
- Core Tech: Golang, Python, Kafka, nsqd, Redis, Elasticsearch, mongoDB, Unit Tests, HTTP/TCP, Nginx, MCP, AIDD, AIRD, Mobile First APIs.
- Architecture: Strong grasp of microservice scalable architecture and asset hosting for edge performance.
- Scale: Practical skills in database partitioning, sharding, and query optimisation.
- AI Tooling: Advanced expertise in Cursor and Windsurf for AI-driven development and code generation.
- Infrastructure: Familiarity with AWS/Azure ecosystems, Linux Kernels, and automated backup/DR strategies.
- Process: Expertise in Sprints and SDLC Management to maintain high velocity without sacrificing quality.
