Description of Work
OM/PA Technician II serves as integral member of the OM/PA Team with Classification, Compensation and Pay Administration (CC&PA) at Central HR. Primary initiator of Organizational Management and Pay Administration requests throughout their entire workflow process. The position ensures high quality, accuracy, confidentiality, and excellent customer service at every stage. Additionally, the Technician provides office support to the CC & PA section by assigning OM and PA Smartsheet requests and updating position description in Workday.Key Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Responsible for initiating, monitoring, tracking, revising, and completing OM/PA actions into Integrated Human Resources Payroll System in a fast-paced environment.
- Review OM and PA requests for content, accuracy, and ensure supporting documentation is included before processing.
- Provide guidance to HR and Admin staff on OM request requirements, OM rules, and OM best processing practices and positive customer experiences.
- Generate a wide variety of BOBJ, Sap GUI, Workday, and Excel reports to review and support decisions made.
- Process position description updates on Workday.
- Work and collaborate with internal, external, and cross sections to smoothly complete action requests.
- Assist with special OM projects and initiatives.
- Assign OM/PA Smartsheet requests to OM and PA teams.

Recruitment Range: $37,377 - $54,615.00 Annually

Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement. The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)/ Management Preferences are not required. Applicants who possess the following skills are preferred:
- Demonstrated experience working in a HR role applying HR Federal and State laws, and State policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Hand-on experience working with Integrated HR systems to preferably process organizational management and/or personnel actions.
- Experience creating reports to review and/or search position or employee data.
- Experience in performing and reporting Quality Checks.
- Experience creating and maintaining position or employee data.
- Technical Proficiency in using Microsoft Office such as Outlook, Excel, PDF, and Word.
