We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our growing data team in Kraków. This role is ideal for someone with strong Big Data expertise, excellent analytical capabilities, and a passion for turning complex data into meaningful business insights.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data architecture in a Big Data environment
Execute complex data analysis and develop advanced SQL queries to support business and technical needs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance across platforms
Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Contribute to Agile delivery processes and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of relevant experience as a Data Engineer in a Big Data environment
Strong expertise in complex data analysis and advanced SQL querying
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and/or Scala
Hands-on experience with Spark and Big Data processing frameworks
Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure Cloud
Familiarity with Databricks and Power BI (or similar BI tools) is a strong advantage
Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and delivery practices
Strong analytical, data management, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with global stakeholders
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
