Cloud Security Engineer

Strive Solutions seeks a Cloud Product Security Engineer to secure cloud-native insurance and financial products. The role partners with product, engineering, and DevOps teams on cloud architecture, security automation, vulnerability remediation, incident response, and secure engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and review secure cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Perform threat modeling and embed security controls throughout product development
• Automate security using CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Identify, manage, and remediate vulnerabilities and cloud misconfigurations
• Lead and support incident response activities related to cloud security events
• Define and evolve security standards; mentor engineering teams on secure practices

Skills

• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and threat modeling
• Proficiency with CI/CD and IaC for implementing automated security controls
• Experience with vulnerability management and remediation in cloud environments
• Ability to drive incident response and improve resilience through secure engineering practices
• Clear communication and collaboration across technical teams
