Senior Management Accountant

As Senior Management Accountant, you’ll play a key role in supporting the organisation through high-quality management accounting, insightful analysis, and strong business partnering.

Reporting to the Business Performance Manager, this role works closely with leaders across the business to provide both strategic and day-to-day financial advice. You’ll help drive informed decision-making, support planning and performance management, and contribute to the delivery of Summerset’s financial and strategic objectives.

What you'll be doing:

• Providing management accounting services and consolidated business reporting across the organisation
• Supporting and coordinating budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes, including analytical review and consolidation
• Monitoring and analysing financial and operational performance, identifying risks, opportunities, and trends
• Preparing and reviewing month-end results, management reports, and variance analysis
• Delivering complex financial analysis and modelling to support business decisions
• Contributing to medium and long-term business planning and strategic projects
• Challenging assumptions, reviewing cost drivers, and recommending commercially viable alternatives
• Supporting continuous improvement across financial tools, systems, and processes
• Assisting with month-end processes and ad-hoc projects as required
• Mentoring and providing guidance to other management accountants when needed

About you

You’re a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys partnering with the business and adding value beyond the numbers. You’re analytical, proactive, and confident working with stakeholders across a range of functions and leadership levels.

You'll bring:

• CA, CPA, CIMA (or equivalent) qualification
• A minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience
• Strong management accounting and financial analysis capability
• Advanced Excel skills, with SQL experience advantageous
• Experience with dashboarding and performance scorecards
• Proven influencing and business partnering skills
• Excellent communication skills, able to engage financial and non-financial stakeholders
• Strong commercial acumen and critical thinking ability
• A self-driven, results-oriented approach
