The Opportunity
We are looking for a Founding Backend / Platform Engineer to build the technical backbone of NumeriQu.
This is an early, high-ownership role. You will work directly with the founder to translate business problems into scalable backend systems. Over time, this role is expected to grow into a Tech Lead / CTO role as the company scales.
This role is best suited for someone who wants to build from scratch, learn fast, and take real ownership.
What You’ll Work On
Designing and building the core backend architecture
Integrating with multiple data sources (APIs, files, databases)
Designing databases and data models for analytics
Building reliable data pipelines
Making early decisions around scalability, performance, and security
Exploring AI/ML capabilities where they create real value
Who Should Apply

What We’re Looking For
Strong backend development experience (any modern stack)
Solid understanding of APIs, databases, and integrations
Experience working with data-heavy systems
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
Interest in AI/ML (hands-on experience is a plus, not mandatory)
