Digital UX Specialist

Description

SurfacePrep is seeking a Digital UX Specialist to manage and improve the performance, usability, and customer experience across our portfolio of websites. This hands-on role combines website management, UX/UI, optimization, and troubleshooting to create seamless digital experiences across multiple brands and business units. The ideal candidate is proactive, technically capable, and comfortable identifying opportunities and implementing improvements from concept through execution.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build webpages, landing pages, layouts, and digital experiences across multiple websites and brands.
• Improve navigation, customer journeys, and mobile and desktop usability through UX/UI best practices.
• Optimize lead-generation pathways, forms, search functionality, and conversions to improve website performance.
• Monitor website engagement and user behavior to identify and resolve friction points and optimization opportunities.
• Manage and maintain CMS platforms, plugins, integrations, forms, redirects, and user access.
• Troubleshoot website issues and support ongoing website consolidation, modernization, and performance improvements.
• Partner with E-Commerce, Digital Marketing, and Content teams to improve the online customer experience and content engagement.
• Maintain consistent web standards, functionality, and digital experiences across brands and business units.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in website management, UX/UI, web design, or digital experience.
• Experience managing websites within a CMS environment, including plugins, integrations, forms, hosting, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of SEO, website performance, and conversion optimization.
• Experience creating landing pages, webpage layouts, and engaging digital experiences.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with experience managing multiple websites or brands a plus.
• Familiarity with HubSpot or other marketing automation platforms and basic HTML/CSS knowledge preferred.
• Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, distribution, or technical B2B environment is a plus.
