Staffing Specialist / Recruiter (Entry-Level Sales & Customer Service)
Surge Staffing is seeking a motivated, energetic, and customer-focused Talent Advisor to join our growing team. This is a full-time, permanent internal position offering an excellent opportunity for individuals with sales, customer service, recruiting, or business development experience who are looking to build a rewarding career in staffing and workforce solutions.

Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and temporary employees
- Recruit, screen, interview, and onboard qualified candidates
- Source candidates through job boards, resume databases, referrals, and recruiting platforms
- Match candidate skills and experience with client staffing needs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and temporary associates
- Conduct follow-up calls to ensure employee satisfaction and successful placements
- Generate and develop new business opportunities through sales and networking efforts
- Perform client service calls and outside sales visits to maintain and grow business partnerships
- Promote Surge Staffing services and identify additional staffing solutions for customers
- Support branch operations through administrative and data entry tasks
- Assist with employee coaching, performance management, and retention efforts
- Resolve employee and client concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Support branch growth initiatives and contribute to overall revenue goals
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of sales and/or customer service experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in recruiting, staffing, human resources, customer service, or business development preferred
- Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and results-driven mindset
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally to client locations as needed
