[Remote] Full Stack Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. SWAKIO is seeking a Full-Stack Developer to build scalable web applications from scratch. The role develops and maintains frontend and backend systems, RESTful APIs, database integrations, and cloud deployments while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimise full-stack web applications using modern frontend and backend technologies
• Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces while ensuring high performance and cross-browser compatibility
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services where required
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and write efficient, scalable queries
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on cloud platforms while following security and best coding practices

Skills

• Strong knowledge of React.js, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Experience with Node.js, Express.js or NestJS
• Good understanding of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
• Experience with REST APIs, Git, Docker, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiarity with authentication, security, CI/CD, and Agile development practices
• 2–3+ years of professional experience in Full-Stack Development
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred)
