As part of Swisscom’s Cloud & Datacenter sales team, you win new business and grow existing customer relationships by positioning datacenter solutions that address technical and business needs. Your scope covers infrastructure, software, integration projects and operational services for virtual machine and containerised environments. Together with account managers, solution architects, delivery teams and technology partners, you develop competitive proposals and drive opportunities to contract signature and project kickoff. You take responsibility for order intake and profitability within your assigned opportunities. At Swisscom, you work in an innovative, collaborative environment with modern technologies and methods.

Highlights

• Build and qualify a high-quality pipeline and guide opportunities from discovery to award
• Position solutions across compute, storage, virtualisation, Kubernetes, backup and disaster recovery, translating capabilities into clear business value
• Co-create technically sound, commercially attractive proposals with architects and delivery teams, including implementation, migration and managed services
• Collaborate with leading technology partners and distributors on positioning and pricing, and share market insights with product management
• Work smart, work anywhere in a team that values initiative, ownership and collaboration

Your skills

• Proven track record selling datacenter infrastructure, software and related services in complex business-to-business environments
• Practical experience with solutions for both virtual machine and containerised environments, plus a solid understanding of compute, storage, virtualisation, data protection and infrastructure management; you involve specialists where deeper expertise is required
• Strong opportunity qualification, negotiation and closing skills with attention to profitability and delivery feasibility
• Degree in technology or business administration, or equivalent practical experience
• Collaborative and communicative; you coordinate account managers, architects, delivery teams and partners
• Able to translate technical topics into customer benefits, business value and compelling commercial proposals
• Excellent French and English; German or Italian an advantage
• Advantages: Experience in the Swiss enterprise market, Sovereign Cloud or Microsoft Azure, and relevant vendor or Azure certifications
