Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts within the masterbatch and plastic packaging segments.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market penetration.
- Conduct regular market intelligence analysis to identify emerging trends and competitive threats.
- Lead negotiations with clients to secure profitable contracts and long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to manage product risk and ensure supply chain efficiency.
- Provide technical support and product guidance to customers to enhance value proposition.
- Oversee people management responsibilities to ensure high performance within the sales team.
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics and business management KPIs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in account management within the polymers, masterbatches, or specialty chemicals industry.
- Strong understanding of the plastic packaging market and its technical requirements.
- Demonstrated success in sales, marketing, and business development.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Strong analytical capabilities for market intelligence and product risk management.
- Experience in people management and leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Ability to work effectively in a full-time office environment in Mumbai.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, or a related engineering field.
