Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and manage engineering teams in delivering high-quality software solutions. In this role, you will provide technical guidance, drive technical excellence, foster a culture of innovation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical decisions with business objectives. This is a hybrid role based in Pune.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering teams effectively, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture to achieve project goals and organizational objectives.
• Oversee timelines, team allocation, risk management, and task prioritization to ensure successful project delivery.
• Mentor and support team members' professional growth, conduct performance reviews, and provide actionable feedback.
• Evaluate and enhance engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to optimize team productivity.
• Collaborate with business partners, product managers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Enforce technology standards, facilitate peer reviews, and implement robust testing practices.
• Advise key stakeholders and senior management on functional and cross-functional areas of impact.
• Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, supporting the control and governance agenda.

Requirements

• 14 to 25 years of overall software development and engineering management experience.
• Strong knowledge of a micro-service-driven approach to design, build, test, and deploy major systems.
• Expertise in software development using languages and technologies such as Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, React, and Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies and DevOps principles and tools.
• Proficiency in Test Driven Development (TDD) and/or Behavior Driven Development (BDD).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, release management, and source code repository tools like Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, and GitLab.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills with a structured analytical approach.
• Proven ability to build trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
