We are seeking a seasoned Tech Lead to spearhead data engineering and business intelligence initiatives. In this role, you will manage high-performing teams, drive the delivery of complex data platforms, and act as a strategic partner to business stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of large-scale technical programs.

They are known for fostering a culture of innovation and operational excellence, supporting large-scale enterprise clients across the financial services sector.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of data engineers and BI developers to drive end-to-end delivery of data management platforms.
Partner with business stakeholders to define solution roadmaps, prioritize workstreams, and translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Own solution design, technical direction, and delivery governance while proactively managing risks and dependencies.
Coordinate analysis, planning, and task allocation to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery and operational excellence.
Act as the primary technical leader, presenting solutions and providing strategic guidance on platform evolution.
Mentor team members, drive accountability, and manage competing priorities within an Agile environment.

Requirements

12-16 years of experience in data engineering and data platform delivery.
Proven experience leading teams of 10+ members in a client-facing environment.
Expert-level hands-on expertise in Databricks, SQL, PySpark, and modern data architecture.
Strong proficiency in Power BI for reporting and data visualization.
Minimum of 4 years of experience within the financial domain.
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage business leaders and conduct workshops.
Strong capabilities in roadmap planning, requirement analysis, estimation, and Agile execution.
Ability to work from the office in Bengaluru / Gurugram.
