IAM Engineer

We are seeking an experienced IAM Engineer to join a global Authentication and Directory Services team. You will be responsible for designing and delivering enterprise-scale identity and device management solutions within a hybrid environment. This role requires a deep technical background in non-Microsoft identity stacks and a commitment to maintaining robust security and governance standards.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and maintain enterprise-grade Authentication and Directory Services components.
• Design and implement global identity solutions across hybrid on-premises and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with multi-platform global engineering teams to deliver secure identity infrastructure.
• Present technical recommendations and architectural solutions to management stakeholders.
• Adhere to strict change control procedures and established governance frameworks.
• Drive continuous improvement of identity and access management practices to enhance operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex authentication and directory service issues.

Requirements

• Subject-matter expertise in PingDS, LDAP, or similar non-Microsoft enterprise directory services.
• Hands-on experience with RHEL Linux, including PAM stack, networking, and process control.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting using Bash, Python, and Perl.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools including Ansible and Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of load balancing, global traffic management, and persistence.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to senior management.
• Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Desirable: Experience with MIT Kerberos, MFA platforms (Duo, RSA), certificate management, Grafana, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
