MERN Stack & Generative AI Engineer

We are looking for an experienced full-stack engineer with strong MERN stack expertise and hands-on experience building Generative AI and LLM-powered applications. You will design and develop web applications using React, Next.js and Node.js, integrating LLM capabilities such as retrieval-augmented generation pipelines built with LangChain, LangGraph and OpenAI. The role sits at the intersection of modern web engineering and applied AI, with a focus on delivering robust, scalable and secure solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain full-stack web applications using React.js, Next.js and Node.js
• Develop Generative AI features using LLMs, including integrations with OpenAI APIs
• Build and optimise RAG pipelines using LangChain and LangGraph for knowledge retrieval and reasoning workflows
• Design and manage data models across SQL and NoSQL databases to support AI-driven applications
• Deploy, monitor and scale services on AWS cloud infrastructure
• Collaborate with product, data and design teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Ensure code quality through reviews, testing and adherence to security and performance best practices
• Evaluate and improve LLM outputs, latency and cost across the application lifecycle

Requirements

• 5 to 9 years of professional experience in full-stack software development
• Strong hands-on expertise in React.js, Next.js and Node.js
• Practical experience with Generative AI and LLMs, including LangChain, LangGraph and OpenAI
• Proven experience building RAG pipelines in production environments
• Solid working knowledge of SQL databases and NoSQL databases
• Experience with AWS cloud services; AWS certification is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a hybrid team setting
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, ownership-driven mindset
