Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data platforms and analytics solutions. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Build and manage robust data transformation frameworks using dbt.
• Develop high-performance data models and optimize complex SQL queries for large-scale datasets.
• Implement efficient data ingestion and integration processes from multiple sources.
• Leverage AWS services to architect and maintain cloud-native data solutions.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance across all data platforms.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production data pipelines to ensure maximum reliability and performance.
• Mentor junior team members and lead architectural discussions and code reviews.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering and analytics.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and dbt.
• Extensive experience with AWS services including S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, and Athena.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL/ELT frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD practices and workflow orchestration tools like Airflow.
• Familiarity with modern data platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with business stakeholders.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• AWS Certification at the Associate or Professional level is highly preferred.
