Tech Lead - SAP BTP Basis

We are seeking a highly skilled Tech Lead to oversee and govern SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) operations across hybrid enterprise landscapes. This role serves as the central technical coordinator, ensuring secure, compliant, and standardized platform operations while bridging the gap between development teams, hyperscalers, and cybersecurity stakeholders. You will drive operational resilience and platform modernization, ensuring that SAP cloud services are optimized for reliability and business value.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP BTP platform administration and operations across complex hybrid landscapes.
• Define and implement SAP BTP platform governance from a Basis and operational perspective.
• Act as the primary point of contact between SAP, hyperscalers, internal platform teams, and cybersecurity stakeholders.
• Oversee SAP BTP service availability, platform reliability, and operational SLAs.
• Manage integration, connectivity, and platform services, including SAP Integration Suite and Cloud Connector.
• Ensure strict compliance with enterprise security policies, regulatory standards, and audit requirements.
• Drive automation, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives for SAP BTP environments.
• Provide technical guidance to development and managed service partners regarding execution processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering.
• Extensive experience in SAP Basis, S/4 HANA, and HANA native DB.
• Hands-on expertise with SAP BTP, including subaccount management, destinations, service keys, and Cloud Connector.
• Strong knowledge of Principle Propagation, IAS, IPS, and BTP monitoring.
• Proficiency in SAP Cloud Security, Governance, and SAP Cloud Transport Management.
• Understanding of SAP RISE operating models and hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• CISSP certification is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage vendors and coordinate multiple stakeholders in a global environment.
