You Are

You have spent years in the semiconductor test and yield world, close enough to the fab floor and the data to know that yield is not just a number on a dashboard. It is a story told through wafer maps, test patterns, and production ramps that either work or do not. You have debugged enough yield excursions to recognize when a problem is tooling, when it is data, and when it is someone asking the wrong question entirely.

Working with customers energizes you. Not the polished demo kind of work, the real kind where you are troubleshooting a database connection at 4 p.m. on a Friday or walking an engineer through a new analysis flow because their NPI timeline just moved up. You translate between what the software can do and what the customer actually needs, and you do it without losing either side of that conversation.

You are comfortable operating independently across time zones, but you know when to pull in the right people. At Synopsys, you will work directly with top semiconductor companies in Taiwan, supporting tools that matter to their production outcomes, and you will have a team behind you that takes that responsibility seriously.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support Synopsys Silicon Lifecycle Analytics products through the full customer lifecycle, from pre-sales evaluation and proof-of-concept through deployment, training, and ongoing production use
• Serve as the primary technical interface for customers in Taiwan, troubleshooting issues related to yield analysis workflows, data pipelines, database connectivity, and tool performance
• Work directly with product engineering and test teams at customer sites to understand their yield management challenges and propose technical solutions using Synopsys tools and methodologies
• Collaborate with internal product development teams to communicate customer requirements, reproduce and escalate software issues, and validate new features before release
• Deliver technical training sessions to customers and internal teams on yield analysis, test diagnosis workflows, and best practices for using Synopsys Silicon Lifecycle Analytics solutions
• Develop technical documentation, use case examples, and solution guides based on real customer deployments and feedback
• Participate in pre-sales activities including product demonstrations, technical presentations, and competitive positioning discussions with prospective customers

• Accelerate customer onboarding and adoption by creating reusable training content and solution frameworks that scale across accounts
• Strengthen the bridge between customer operations and Synopsys product strategy, ensuring solutions are built for the problems that actually matter

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, with 5+ years of industry experience in semiconductor test, yield analysis, or product engineering
• Deep hands-on experience in semiconductor test operations, including familiarity with the design-to-test-to-manufacturing flow and the data that moves through it
• Proven expertise in yield analysis from NPI through ramp and production, using yield management tools and methodologies to drive quality improvements
• Proficiency with Linux and Windows operating systems, shell scripting, and at least one programming or scripting language such as Python, Perl, TCL, or JavaScript
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
• Strong troubleshooting skills across databases, networks, and software environments, with experience diagnosing issues that span tooling, data integrity, and system configuration
• Knowledge of competitive EDA products in yield management or test diagnosis is a strong plus, as is familiarity with diagnostic testing methodologies for logic and memory

• You can walk into a customer meeting with incomplete information, ask the right questions, and leave with a clear action plan that moves the project forward
• When a tool is not behaving as expected, you do not wait for someone to tell you what to do. You dig into logs, check the data pipeline, test configurations, and isolate the issue
• You are comfortable presenting technical content to a room full of engineers or yield managers, and you can adjust your explanation on the fly based on who is asking the questions
• Working across global teams and time zones does not slow you down. You communicate proactively, document thoroughly, and know when to escalate or collaborate
• You take ownership of customer success, not just ticket closure. If a workaround is not good enough, you push for a real fix
• You can explain a yield analysis workflow to a new user in a way that makes sense, and you can also sit down with a senior engineer and debug a complex SQL query or scripting issue without missing a beat

You will join the Silicon Lifecycle Analytics Solutions team, a global applications engineering group that works directly with top semiconductor customers to deploy and support Synopsys yield management and analytics products. The team operates across regions and works closely with product engineering, sales, and customer operations to ensure solutions are technically sound and aligned with real production needs.
