We are looking for an Application Support Engineer with strong experience in PL/SQL to join a project within the banking sector. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in production support, incident resolution, database troubleshooting, and application monitoring.
What you would do:
Provide L2/L3 application support in production environments.
Investigate and resolve incidents, problems, and service requests.
Analyze and troubleshoot application and database issues using PL/SQL and SQL.
Develop, maintain, and optimize PL/SQL queries, procedures, functions, and scripts.
Monitor application performance and ensure stability and availability.
Support application deployments, releases, and production changes.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, database, and business teams.
Automate recurring support and operational tasks.
Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
What you need to bring:
3+ years of experience in Application/Production Support.
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL and SQL.
Good knowledge of Oracle databases.
Experience with Linux/Unix environments and Shell scripting.
Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.
Experience with monitoring and ticketing tools.
Knowledge of ITIL processes.
Experience with CI/CD and deployment tools is a plus.
Experience in the banking/financial sector is a plus.
English B2 or higher
