We are looking for an Oracle Database Administrator with a DevOps mindset to ensure database stability, performance, security, and automation, with strong experience in Oracle environments.
What you would do:
Maintain production and non-production databases, ensuring availability and performance.
Analyze and resolve incidents, requests, and database issues.
Manage change requests and perform preventive maintenance.
Optimize database engines and SQL code.
Develop scripts and automated solutions to improve database operations.
Support developers, application administrators, and infrastructure teams.
Participate in the design and implementation of database solutions, including high availability and scalability.
Maintain technical and operational documentation.
Participate in business continuity and availability exercises.
Key Requirements:
3+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
Strong experience with Oracle 19c.
Experience with Oracle RAC and Single Instance.
Knowledge of RMAN and Oracle Data Guard.
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with automation and scripting.
Experience with ticketing systems.
English B2 and proficiency in Portuguese.
Knowledge of MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB is a plus.
