System Soft Technologies is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver scalable software for an AI-powered SaaS platform serving the P&C insurance, claims, and healthcare industries. The role leads application architecture and full-stack development, integrates AI/ML capabilities, and translates business requirements and insurance claims workflows into production applications.


Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Python, Django, React, and TypeScript
  • Architect and implement modern front-end solutions using React, TypeScript, and Next.js
  • Develop and maintain backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices
  • Design, optimize, and maintain SQL databases and data-driven applications
  • Lead technical design, architecture, planning, estimation, and implementation of new features
  • Build and maintain cloud-based applications using AWS and/or Azure
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Terraform
  • Develop and support Docker-based and containerized applications
  • Design and implement microservices, event-driven architectures, and domain-driven design solutions
  • Integrate AI/ML models, data science outputs, and AI-driven capabilities into production workflows
  • Write and maintain unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure application quality
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and engineering best practices
  • Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, actuaries, and business stakeholders
  • Translate P&C insurance claims workflows and business requirements into practical technical solutions
  • Ensure secure software development practices, including encryption and sensitive-data protection
  • Document technical designs, application architecture, APIs, and development processes
