Must-Have Skills:

  • Software engineering leadership and technical mentoring.
  • Skills in Java, Python, or Go.
  • Distributed systems and microservices.
  • REST APIs and backend software architecture.
  • Cloud-native software development.
  • Kubernetes application deployment and operations.
  • CI/CD and software delivery automation.
  • Production software support and troubleshooting.
  • SDLC and Agile engineering practices.
  • Observability and application monitoring concepts.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or similar).
  • Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Datadog, or OpenTelemetry.
  • Familiarity with reliability engineering concepts, including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
  • Experience supporting AI platforms, LLM-powered services, or conversational AI applications.
  • Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP), API gateways, or enterprise integration patterns.
  • Experience working with Agentic AI platform teams or consumer-facing AI application teams.
