This role is essential for designing, implementing, and deploying scalable software, cloud, and identity solutions that meet customer requirements and support high availability environments. It involves collaborating with engineers to develop software architectures and components using technologies such as, microservices, public cloud, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.

The role requires applying judgment to resolve complex technical issues and making recommendations for software architecture and design. Success is measured by the effectiveness of software solutions, technical leadership contributions, and the ability to influence technology decisions. The work impacts the organization by enabling advanced software and platform capabilities that improve operational efficiency and customer experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Drive engineering projects to deliver software and infrastructure solutions that meet technical requirements and quality standards
• Provide technical leadership by mentoring engineers and influencing technology and policy decisions across the organization
• Evaluate and apply technology strategies that align with business goals and system requirements
• Develop innovative architecture and improvements that enhance existing systems and processes
• Produce clear technical documentation and architecture descriptions for internal and external stakeholders
• Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed

Education and Work Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree plus 7 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 5 years of related experience (Required)
• Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science or Engineering (Required)
• 7-10 years Technical engineering experience (Required)

Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity: $163,440 - $326,880National Base Pay Range: $136,200 - $272,400

The Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity represents the expected total cash compensation for this role at target performance, combining base salary and annual incentive opportunity. Actual earnings may be higher or lower depending on individual performance and overall company results.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on individual and/or company performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
