We are seeking a talented Python Developer to join our team and work on IT projects.

We are looking for a Backend Engineer with strong knowledge of Python. In this role, you will contribute to the development and evolution of a large-scale, business-critical application, working closely with business stakeholders to translate complex contractual requirements into robust and scalable technical solutions.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend features using Python and Flask within an existing large codebase
• Collaborate directly with business teams to understand contract requirements and translate them into APIs, data models, and backend logic
• Ensure high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code through best engineering practices
• Process and manipulate data using tools such as Pandas and Pydantic
• Contribute to the design and optimization of SQL-based data models and queries
• Containerize applications and services using Docker
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve application performance in an AWS environment
• Implement and maintain observability using Grafana, Elasticsearch/Kibana (ELK), and Sentry
• Work in close collaboration with frontend developers (React / Highcharts) to ensure seamless integration with backend APIs

• Strong experience in backend development with Python (Flask preferred)
• Solid understanding of API design, data modeling, and relational databases (SQL)
• Experience working within large or legacy codebases
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS) and containerization (Docker)
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience in the energy sector or with contract management systems
• Exposure to data processing and analytics tools
• Understanding of frontend technologies (React ecosystem)
