Role Overview :
As a Machine Learning Engineer - 4 specializing in Computer Vision, you will lead the design and deployment of sophisticated visual intelligence systems that transform raw pixel data into actionable business insights. You will operate at the intersection of research and production, collaborating closely with cross-functional product teams, data engineers, and business stakeholders to solve complex challenges in image recognition and pattern analysis. Key Responsibilities :
- Architect and implement end-to-end deep learning pipelines to solve high-stakes computer vision problems, ensuring models are optimized for production-grade performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineering leads to translate ambiguous business requirements into robust technical specifications, ensuring alignment with long-term product roadmaps.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct rigorous code reviews to maintain high standards of model architecture, data integrity, and software engineering best practices across the team.
- Optimize existing image processing algorithms and computer vision models to improve latency and accuracy, directly impacting the quality of service delivered to our end users.
- Drive the evaluation and adoption of state-of-the-art research in pattern recognition and deep learning to maintain our competitive edge in the market.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in building and deploying complex computer vision models using PyTorch or Tensorflow, with a deep understanding of neural network architectures and optimization techniques.
- Proven ability to write clean, production-ready Python code and leverage OpenCV for advanced image processing tasks in high-throughput environments.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data science problems into scalable technical solutions, backed by 5 - 9 years of hands-on experience in the field.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and foster collaborative relationships within a remote-first, distributed team.
- A solid foundation in mathematics, statistics, and pattern recognition, typically supported by an advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
- High degree of self-motivation and adaptability, with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, remote, or hybrid work environment without the need for constant supervision.
