About the Role :
We are looking for an AI Search & GEO Engineer who sits at the intersection of engineering, SEO, Generative AI, and modern search.
This role is ideal for someone who has evolved from a technical/engineering background into SEO and AI-driven search optimization, with hands-on experience in GEO, AEO, LLM-based ranking, semantic search, and generative search experiences.
You will work on improving how products, content, and digital experiences are discovered, retrieved, ranked, and represented by AI-powered search engines and LLM platforms.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and deploy production-grade AI/ML and Generative AI solutions.
- Drive GEO, AEO, and SGE initiatives to improve visibility across AI-powered search and generative interfaces.
- Optimize content, data, and digital experiences for LLM-driven search, conversational queries, and AI-generated answers.
- Work with LLMs, NLP, semantic search, embeddings, RAG, vector databases, and information retrieval.
- Analyze search intent, AI-generated responses, retrieval patterns, citations, ranking signals, and content discoverability.
- Identify opportunities to improve how information is surfaced and represented across generative search platforms.
- Build experiments, evaluation frameworks, and measurement models to assess GEO/AEO effectiveness and AI search performance.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Content, SEO, Marketing, and Business teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
- Monitor and optimize AI/ML solutions for accuracy, relevance, latency, scalability, and user experience.
- Stay current with developments in Generative AI, AI Search, LLMs, GEO, AEO, SGE, and emerging search technologies.
Mandatory Requirements :
- 4+ years of overall professional experience, including meaningful experience in SEO.
- 3+ years of hands-on GEO, AEO, or similar AI-driven search optimization experience.
- 3+ years of experience with LLM / AI-driven ranking or search systems.
- Strong understanding of SEO, GEO, AEO, semantic search, entity optimization, query intent, content relevance, and AI-based ranking.
- Understanding of how generative engines retrieve, evaluate, rank, and present information.
- Good understanding of major LLM ecosystems, including ChatGPT, Google Gemini, or similar platforms.
- B.Tech / B.E. or equivalent engineering degree is mandatory.
- Demonstrated career progression from engineering/technical roles into SEO, digital marketing, GEO, AEO, or AI-search optimization.
- Strong analytical and technical problem-solving ability with the capability to work across engineering and SEO/marketing functions.
